Strawberry Cheesecake Buns Recipe - Easy to Make at Home

Airy strawberry cheesecake buns, filled with cheesecake and topped with a glossy strawberry glaze, delighting both the eyes and taste buds.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream chilled (120g)
  • ¼ cup sugar 55g
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1-2 tablespoon lemon juice or to taste
  • 6 oz cream cheese room temperature (170g)
  • 4 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2-3 Graham crackers and 4-5 strawberries.

Instructions
 

Cheesecake Filling:

  • Whisk heavy cream, sugar, salt, vanilla, and lemon juice until it thickens.
  • Add room temperature cream cheese and whisk on low until creamy. Don’t overmix.
  • Taste and adjust as needed.
  • Put the mixture into a piping bag with a round tip.

Filling the Buns:

  • Use a small knife to make a hole in the side of each roll and create a pocket inside.
  • Fill each roll with about 25g of cheesecake filling.
  • Clean the edges and refrigerate the rolls.

Strawberry Glaze:

  • Mix all glaze ingredients in a small saucepan.
  • Cook and stir over low heat until thickened.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Dip the top of each roll into the glaze, shake off excess, and place on a wire rack.

Decoration (Optional):

  • Decorate with sliced strawberries and crushed graham crackers.
