Ingredients
  

For the cake:

  • 1 package Devil's food cake mix 15.25 oz or 432g
  • 1 box Instant chocolate pudding 3.9 oz or 110g
  • 1 cup Sour cream 240g
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Water 120ml
  • 1/2 cup Oil 120ml
  • 1 1/2 cups Chocolate chips 255g

For cream cheese frosting:

  • 8 oz Cream cheese 226g
  • 1/4 cup Butter 57g
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar 240g
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparing the Cake Batter

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a bundt cake pan thoroughly.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, eggs, water, and oil until well combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.

Baking the Cake

  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • Carefully invert the cake onto a wire cooling rack and let it cool completely.

Making the Cream Cheese Frosting

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy.
  • Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Gradually beat in the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.

Frosting the Cake

  • Spoon the nothing bundt cake cream cheese frosting into a pastry bag or a ziplock bag with a corner cut off.
  • Starting at the outer edge of the cake, squeeze a line of frosting up and over the top, into the center hole.
  • Repeat this process around the entire cake.
