  • 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup milk

Instructions
 

Prepare the corn mixture:

  • Blend fresh corn kernels until smooth. Mix with melted butter and sugar in a bowl.

Combine dry ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt.

Mix wet and dry ingredients:

  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the corn mixture, alternating with milk. Stir until just combined.
