Ingredients
  

For the Cake:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 250g
  • 1 cup granulated sugar 200g
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk 240ml
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil 80ml
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

For the Crumb Topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 125g
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar packed (135g)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted (113g)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  • Make the crumb topping: Mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add melted butter and stir until crumbly.
  • For the cake batter: Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just blended.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over the batter.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
