Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour 313g
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder 50g
  • 1 tsp Baking powder 4g
  • 1/2 tsp Salt 3g

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter 227g
  • 8 oz Cream cheese 227g
  • 2 1/2 cups Granulated sugar 500g
  • 6 large Eggs 300g
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract 10ml
  • 1/4 cup Milk 60ml

Optional Additions:

  • 1 cup Chocolate chips 170g
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts 60g

Instructions
 

Prepare the Pan and Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Grease a 10-inch bundt pan thoroughly with butter and dust with flour.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Set aside.

Cream the Butter and Cheese

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add sugar, beating until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla

  • Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  • Mix in vanilla extract.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

  • Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
  • Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Bake the Cake

  • Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  • Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve

  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • Invert onto a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
