Instructions
Prepare the Pan and Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Grease a 10-inch bundt pan thoroughly with butter and dust with flour.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Set aside.
Cream the Butter and Cheese
In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add sugar, beating until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
Mix in vanilla extract.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Invert onto a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
