Ingredients
  

Cake:

  • 1 box Betty Crocker Butter Recipe Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar 100g
  • 1 cup Sour cream 240g
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil 120ml
  • 1 tablespoon Butter flavor extract
  • 4 Eggs

Cinnamon Mixture:

  • 3 tablespoons Packed brown sugar 41g
  • 2 teaspoons Granulated sugar 8g
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon 5g

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Generously spray a 12-cup fluted tube cake pan with baking spray containing flour.

Mixing the Cake Batter

  • In a large bowl, combine all Cake ingredients.
  • Beat the mixture with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally.
  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.

Adding the Cinnamon Mixture

  • In a small bowl, mix together the Cinnamon Mixture ingredients.
  • Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter in the pan.
  • Pour the remaining cake batter over the cinnamon mixture.

Baking and Cooling

  • Bake for 38 to 42 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Run a knife around the edge and center of the pan to loosen the cake.
  • Remove the cake from the pan and place on a cooling rack.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely, which takes about 1 hour.
