Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Generously spray a 12-cup fluted tube cake pan with baking spray containing flour.
Mixing the Cake Batter
In a large bowl, combine all Cake ingredients.
Beat the mixture with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
Adding the Cinnamon Mixture
In a small bowl, mix together the Cinnamon Mixture ingredients.
Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter in the pan.
Pour the remaining cake batter over the cinnamon mixture.
Baking and Cooling
Bake for 38 to 42 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes.
Run a knife around the edge and center of the pan to loosen the cake.
Remove the cake from the pan and place on a cooling rack.
Allow the cake to cool completely, which takes about 1 hour.
